Imagine a candied orange peel, dipped in chocolate. Now imagine it in bar form and you’ve got our newest chocolate bar. Featuring 58% dark chocolate made with cocoa beans we sourced directly from the Philippines, this classic bar features notes of fudge, tart citrus, and vanilla sweetness. 

We make this juicy dark chocolate bar by hand, in small batches by blending organic oranges--peel and pulp!--and a dash of floral orange oil, plus organic vanilla bean into this rich and creamy dark chocolate.

This bright chocolate is Certified Kosher D.E., vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free.

The tourists in Davao, Philippines, often visit for the region’s summery climate and cultured history. Although much of Davao’s story entails Spanish conquistadors and Japanese immigrants, the arrival of the cocoa bean on Filipino soil is often left for the epilogue. When Spanish explorers first planted cocoa in the Davao region nearly 400 years ago, it was an attempt to guard what they called “food for the gods.” Little did they know that what they once hoarded would allow the Davao region to become one of the world’s premier sources for cocoa beans.
