Cocoa Açaí Berry Smoothie Bowl
Did you know our chocolate is great for using in recipes? We also make pantry staples you know and love, like (natural and non-alkalized) Cocoa Powder and Roasted Cocoa Nibs. Take this Cocoa Açaí Berry Smoothie Bowl, for instance! We used our vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free Natural Cocoa Powder blended with a handful of frozen fruits and almond milk to make a big healthy bowl of goodness. If you need more chocolate, top with Roasted Cocoa Nibs for added crunch.
Makes Two Bowls
What You'll Need:
2 frozen packets of açaí puree (3.5oz)
1/2 cup frozen bananas
1/2 cup almond milk or coconut milk, cashew milk, etc.
1 tbs. Single Origin Cocoa Powder
2 tbs. Single Origin Roasted Cocoa Nibs
Optional Toppings: shredded coconut, chia seeds, blueberries, banana slices, honey, peanut butter, granola
Instructions: In the bowl of a food processor or a blender, break up the frozen açaí puree. Add frozen berries, banana, cocoa powder and 1/2 of the almond milk. Blend adding more milk if needed. Puree should be thick, divide into bowls and top with fresh fruit, chia seeds, shredded coconut and drizzle of honey.
